The Nano 33 BLE Sense is a 3.3V AI enabled board. It comes with a host of sensors onboard including:
- 9 axis inertial sensor: useful for wearable devices
- humidity, and temperature sensor
- barometric sensor
- microphone: to capture and analyse sound in real time
- gesture, proximity, light color and light intensity sensor : estimate the room’s luminosity, but also whether someone is moving close to the board
The board features a NRF52840 processor from Nordic Semiconductors, 1 32 bit ARM Corect processor running at 64 Mhz. It also has 1MB of programming memory. The main processor also includes other features such as Bluetooth pairing via NFC and ultra low power consumption modes.
It is important to note that this board runs at 3.3V
The board allows for running AI at the edge using TinyML. You can create your own machine learning models using TensorFlow™ Lite. There is an introductory tutorial on AI created by Arduino on their website here with a more advanced guide on color detection here
