• Download the RJ45 T568A/T568B wiring card (PDF) - a printable reference for the wire order and plug orientation when terminating compatible RJ45 Ethernet plugs.

For a standard straight-through Ethernet lead, use T568A at both ends or T568B at both ends. Follow the plug manufacturer's termination instructions and test the finished cable. The wiring card is for eight-position RJ45 Ethernet plugs, not RJ11 telephone plugs.
