SMD 4.0：With upgraded AI capabilities, the SMD function filters out irrelevant objects in the scene. Equipped with new deep learning algorithm, SMD 4.0 is optimized to filter out small and large animals in the scene to avoid triggering false alarms.
Also, SMD 4.0 can detect the color information of clothing and vehicle for data support of quick search after an event.
Quick Pick: Quick Pick technology can quickly identify human/vehicle targets of interest, which optimizes the search for relevant SMD events. With excellent integration of intelligent functions of both cameras and recorders, this feature can search human/vehicle targets based on AI algorithm that can extract and compare clothing and vehicle colors.
AI SSA：AI SSA (Scene Self-adaption) technology is based on deep learning algorithm that can intelligently identify multiple scenes and adjust to their optimal images.
AI Coding(IP Solution): With the improvement of monitoring resolution, how to maintain image quality while saving storage cost has become one of the most concerning problems of users. Based on CBR (Constant Bit Rate), WizSense AI Coding dynamically allocate bit rate, providing clear target images while saving more than 25% bit rate compared with H.265
What makes this camera different
Designed with more lenses than the conventional PTZ camera, the X-Spans series camera captures an expansive view, producing wide, vivid images. It has the combined power of the panoramic and detail camera in its structure and is highly cost-effective, greatly reducing the installation cost of security systems. It also leverages its two cameras to perform smart tracking and has an independent mode that allows you to separately use each camera.

Auto Tracking
This feature controls the pan, tilt and zoom actions of the camera to automatically track an object in motion, to keep it in view of the camera. Tracking can be triggered manually or automatically by defined rules. Once a rule is triggered, the camera can zoom in and track the defined target automatically.
Starlight Technology
For challenging low-light conditions, Dahua's Starlight Ultra-low Light Technology has exceptional light sensitivity, capturing images in vivid detail, even in lighting as low as 0.005 lux. The camera uses a set of optical features to balance light throughout the scene, producing clear images in dark environments.
Smart Codec
With advanced scene-adaptive rate control algorithm, Dahua smart codec technology realizes the higher encoding efficiency than H.265 and H.264, provides high-quality video, and reduces the cost of storage and transmission.
Perimeter Protection
Automatically filters out false alarms caused by animals, rustling leaves, bright lights, and more, and uses secondary recognition during target detection to improve alarm accuracy.
Smart Tracking
The panoramic camera links with the detail camera to track targets. When the target enters the panoramic area, the detail camera starts to monitor them and tracks their movement by rotating, zooming and focusing the PTZ camera lens. This allows the camera to produce highly detailed images with the movement of targets for security personnel.
Smart Dual Light
Dahua Smart Dual Light technology adopts smart algorithm to detect targets. Usually, the IR illuminator is on at night; when the target appears in the monitoring area, the white light is on, and the camera records the full-color video and information of key events. That is, the camera links snapshot and video with full-color image. When the target is out of the monitoring area, the white light is off and the IR illuminator
is on, which reduces light pollution efficiently.
