- New Extruder Assembly: The kit comes with a dedicated extruder that features a built-in filament cutter and a run-out sensor. This upgrade ensures precise and accurate filament changes, which is crucial for smooth multicolour printing.
- Quick Connection to CFS: With the new extruder and components, the kit enables automatic RFID filament recognition and smooth filament switching. You’ll also have easy access to the relay system for better overall control.
- Multicolour Printing Support: The upgrade is specifically designed for multicolour 3D printing, allowing you to achieve vibrant, complex prints with multiple colours.
NOTE: This kit DOES NOT come with the Creality CFS, it needs to be purchased separately here.
The Creality CFS Upgrade Kit for K1 Series 3D Printers allows the use of the Creality Filament System, which is an innovative solution that allows the use of up to 16 different colours, thanks to its automatic filament loading and switching system, optimizing material management during the printing process. This state-of-the-art system includes features like RFID filament identification and automatic material runout detection, ensuring uninterrupted prints.
- Please update the firmware (Creality OS) with the included USB drive upon the upgrade. For subsequent updates, you can use the OTA function.
- While using CFS, the print size of K1, K1C and K1 SE changes to 220 × 215 × 250 mm, and the print size for K1 Max changes to 300 × 295 × 300 mm. The print size stays unchanged if you use the stock spool holder.
- When upgrading to multicolour printing, the USB port remains functional but will be occupied during the process. Additionally, the PTFE tube must be fed into the printer vertically, which prevents the top cover from fully closing. Improper alignment may lead to tube friction or feeding issues.
With the Creality CFS Upgrade Kit for K1 Series 3D Printers, you can take your prints to new heights of creativity and precision. Don’t hesitate to enhance your 3D printing experience and explore all the possibilities offered by this innovative system. Take the next step and expand your multi-colour printing!
