Description
The UBIQUITI NanoSwitch is an outdoor 4-port Gigabit switch for distributing a network connection and 24 V passive PoE power to compatible devices. One port receives power and data, while the other three ports can connect outdoor radios or other supported passive-PoE equipment.
It is a practical choice for pole or wall installations where several devices share one uplink. PoE output is always active and does not negotiate power, so every connected device must support 24 V passive PoE.
A power source is not included. The UBIQUITI 24 V 24 W Gigabit PoE Adapter can power the NanoSwitch when the switch and all connected devices stay within the adapter’s 24 W output; that adapter also needs the 3-pin clover power cable. If the installation needs the NanoSwitch’s full 30 W total output, use a suitable 24 V, 2-pair passive-PoE source rated for that load. For outdoor links, follow Ubiquiti’s guidance for shielded Category 5e or better cabling, grounding and surge protection.
Why you’ll love it
- One uplink, three powered outputs: Expands a single passive-PoE cable run to three compatible devices.
- Gigabit ports: All four RJ45 ports support Gigabit Ethernet.
- Outdoor installation: The weather-resistant enclosure suits protected outdoor network deployments.
- Flexible mounting: Can be installed on a wall or pole using the appropriate hardware.
